It’s In the Blood

Blessings everyone. ‘It’s in the blood.’ What does that mean?  It’s a common idiom that means “a trait or liking that is deeply ingrained in someone’s personality and unlikely to change in their blood. A similar idiom is ‘in his DNA.’” (1)  In the context of western medicine, a simple assessing of the blood can be determined by a blood sample called a complete blood count or CBC. From this small sample of blood, a plethora of information regarding general health or specific illnesses can be evaluated.

The Holy Scriptures has much to say of what is in the blood. Her are just a few examples:  murder (Gen 9:6), betrayal (Matt 27:4), deception (Gen 37:31), plagues (Exo 7:17), salvation (Exo 12:22), eternal life (John 6:53&54), remissions of sins (Matt 26:27).  Now a question that arises is: whose blood or what kind of blood has these properties?

Whose blood or what kind of blood has these properties?

With our present-day technologies such as DNA testing, we can tell if a blood sample is animal or human and if human characteristics, such as physical features, ethnic backgrounds, and particular genetic defects can be investigated.

In the case of deception sited above, the blood of “a kid of the goats” (Lev 4:23-25) was a part of the sacrifice for atoning for sin in the tabernacle. Yet, it was the very same kind of blood that was used for deceiving.  “So, they took Joseph’s tunic, killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the tunic in the blood,” (Gen 37:31 emphasis supplied). Here, we see the very symbol that is to represent the blood of Christ which is to cleanse the conscience was impotent in hearts infected with the vice of hatred which leads to murder. That is why Paul says that “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind” (Rom 1:28), which allowed for all kinds of ‘diseases’ to get in the blood (Rom 1:29-31).

Without the understanding of what is in the blood, it is possible that one is laboring in vain at the impossible. Paul says, “For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins,” (Heb 10:4). Thus, Yeshua/Jesus says, “in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men,” (Matt 15:9).

So, what is the diagnosis?  It’s sin or ignorance of The Truth/Jesus.  Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me,” (John 14:6). Jesus was speaking to one who was doing vain animal sacrifices and had no clue what was in his blood.  Paul helps us understand that the infection that is in our blood cannot be healed by any other than the life of Christ which is in His blood.  It is not the physical blood, but the revelation of Him, the Truth that’s in His blood so the infection can be removed as we apply the Blood.

It is not the physical blood, but the revelation of Him, the Truth that’s in His blood so the infection can be removed as we apply the Blood.

The animal blood was only symbolic of an understanding by revelation what each sacrifice symbolizes and how our bestial or animal nature must be cured by having “the blood of Christ” transfused into us to “purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God,” (Heb 9:14).

The living God want to come and live in us, who made us from the dust of the earth.  But we must get our conscience clean. How?  By the One.  “For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one,” (1John 5:7&8). The medicine that cures our conscience is the WORD, which is the HOLY SPIRIT, which is the FATHER, which is the WATER, which is the BLOOD and they are ONE!

This is the understanding which is being imparted by apostle Michael Petro at Voice of Healing. It’s the pattern modeled by the archetype “Apostle and High Priest of our profession Christ Jesus” (Heb 3:1).  Here at the Voice of Healing, the saving of the soul (James 1:21) manifest the physical healings; from depression, dyslexia, drug addiction, spina bifida, cancers (from skin to breast), scoliosis and more. The outer manifestations are just a sign of the inner transformations by the BLOOD.  Christ’s desire is to heal us in spirit, soul and body (1Thes 5:23). But for that to happen we must have a BLOOD transfusion in our conscience.  Eternal life is in His BLOOD.  Receive His BLOOD!
