JEWS ALLOWED ACCESS TO RUNNING WATER ON TEMPLE MOUNT

There are a lot of things happening in the world today! Many of which we hear coming from many different prophetic words telling us of things to come. But to get a fuller understanding we also have to look beyond historical events on the news and look into things that the bible speaks about prophetically, in order to bring about a fuller understanding. The Lord said that the people that would not be ready are those that do not know what time it was; and the events happening around the world give us a better understanding of what time it is.

This article speaks of the Jews gaining access to drink water at their place of worship after two thousand years. Having rejected the teachings of Jesus, the Jews were judged and removed from their place of worship. The bible tells us first the natural, then the Spiritual (Ref. 1 Cor 15:46), so this recent ability of the Jews to drink water at the temple mount is a sign that the Lord will now open their eyes to the spiritual, or the living water of the teachings of Jesus:

Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
Joh 4:13-14

The Jews did not believe in Jesus and missed the coming of the Messiah. They missed the marriage with the Lord two thousand years ago which would have brought them into the glory.

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. Rom 11:25

So what is this mystery?

Jesus speaks of both physical and Spiritual water; which in turn speaks of teaching.

“Let my teaching drop as the rain…” Deu 32:2

The Jews have not had access to drink water from the fountain at their most holy place of worship for the past two thousand years. To worship means to bow down or to kneel, and prophetically speaks of learning. So the Jews have been unable to spiritually grow.

Isaiah 1:29-30 states: “For they shall be ashamed of the terebinth trees Which you have desired; And you shall be embarrassed because of the gardens Which you have chosen. For you shall be as a terebinth whose leaf fades, And as a garden that has no water.”

This scripture speaks of strong trees unable to grow in the garden without apparent reason. Trees destitute of life as a garden without water. Prophetically this speaks of a desert journey, a people separated from the hand of the Lord and the seed of His wisdom, walking under a curse after violating an oath. This is a journey without spiritual growth… a journey without the waters of revelation.

For behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, Takes away from Jerusalem and from Judah The stock and the store, The whole supply of bread and the whole supply of water;
Isa 3:1

For Jerusalem stumbled, And Judah is fallen, Because their tongue and their doings Are against the LORD, To provoke the eyes of His glory. The look on their countenance witnesses against them, And they declare their sin as Sodom; They do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought evil upon themselves. Isa 3:8-9

This speaks of the Jews rejecting the teachings of Jesus, representing the un-watered garden.

“The LORD will enter into judgment With the elders of His people And His princes: “For you have eaten up the vineyard; The plunder of the poor is in your houses. What do you mean by crushing My people And grinding the faces of the poor?” Says the Lord GOD of hosts.” Isa 3:14

The curse was brought on by the priests: the elders ate the life out of the vineyard – they crushed the nation with their false teaching.

“The LORD has removed men far away, And the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land. But yet a tenth will be in it, And will return and be for consuming, As a terebinth tree or as an oak, Whose stump remains when it is cut down. So the holy seed shall be its stump.” Isaiah 6:12

Here we see this same tree which did not grow, cut down yet remaining as a stump… a stump which is the holy seed of the Lord. This tenth is a remnant which will return for consumption; which is to say a people will one day come from the Lord with the holy teaching to bear the fruit of that tree.

This can be likened to the John the Baptist’s ministry operating in the Spirit of Elijah:

Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance… Mat 3:8-11

So physically the Jews have had their tree cut at the roots in judgement for rejecting the teachings of Jesus. Their water (prophetic teaching) has been cut off for two thousand years at the temple mount. But out of that stump, a remnant will return:

There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.” Isa 11:1

So how does this work with the Jews now physically being able to get water at the temple mount?

“The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.” John 4:19-20

The Jews have been unable to worship (learn) at their place of worship… and even upon gaining access to the temple mount, they have been unable to drink the water – they have been unable to receive the teaching of the Lord. In place, this was given to the Gentiles.

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24

For two thousand years the Jews were blinded. Why?

I say then, have they (the physical Jews) stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. Rom 11:11

Isaiah prophesied that the stump of the Jews would be a Holy Seed (Ref. Isa 6:13). Jesus tells us the seed is the Word (Ref. Luke 8:11), and we understand the Old Testament to be veiled (Ref. 2 Cor 3:14). If we understand by Isaiah that the veiled Old Testament is the root of the tree and a holy seed, then we can see that the unveiling of the Old Testament is required for branches to shoot forth from the tree to allow it to bear fruit. Up until the time of Jesus, there was no teaching available for the tree to be able to produce the fruit of true understanding of the Word:

“For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” Joh 1:17

“But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” Mat 13:23

We can see here that the grace and the truth in which it speaks of is the teaching. Through understanding the teaching we can produce the fruit.

“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.” John 15:2

By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.” John 15:8  “

So the fruit of our understanding of the Old Testament comes through abiding in His teaching. This is the ingrafting of the branches into the stump. Jesus was the firstfruit (1 Cor 15:20).

“For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.” Rom 11:16-18

“Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?” Rom 11:22-24

The Lord planned this blindness of the Jews to give us an opportunity of salvation through the revelation of the Word:

“Concerning the gospel they (physical Jews) are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. For as you were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy.” Rom 11:28-31

So the Jews will receive mercy how? Through the mercy given to the remnant – the fruit of understanding of the remnant will be made known to the Jews:

“And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious.” It shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall set His hand again the second time To recover the remnant of His people who are left, From Assyria and Egypt, From Pathros and Cush, From Elam and Shinar, From Hamath and the islands of the sea. He will set up a banner for the nations, And will assemble the outcasts of Israel, And gather together the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth.” Isa 11:10-12

So the Jews gaining access to the water fountain at the temple mount is a sign that the Jews are about to receive the revelation of Jesus Christ. They did not receive this water from Jesus, neither did they from Moses:

Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ. 1Co 10:1-4

For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. Heb 4:2

So the Jews are getting their final opportunity. As Rabbi Makover says in the article: “In order to perform the temple service, Jews must eat and drink on the Temple Mount. It has deep spiritual significance connected to bringing peace and sustenance to the world.”

So this mystery:

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. Rom 11:25

The Jews were kept from the revelation of the Word to allow the Gentiles to come in:

For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. 1Co 12:13

The reconciliation of God with man was not ordained to be two thousand years ago: the time was set for the end of the age, which is now. So now, the Father is opening up the revelation to all:

but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.
Rev 10:7

So up until now, the Jews have been without water.

The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, Their tongues fail for thirst. I, the LORD, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. I will open rivers in desolate heights, And fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, And the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar and the acacia tree, The myrtle and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the cypress tree and the pine And the box tree together, That they may see and know, And consider and understand together, That the hand of the LORD has done this, And the Holy One of Israel has created it.
Isa 41:17-20

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
Rev 22:17
