Knowledge is Key

In the book of Hosea 4:6, it says,

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”

It’s apparent that the prophet Hosea was delivering a message from the LORD, regarding His people. First, let’s take a look at the basic definition of knowledge. Knowledge is an awareness or familiarity gained by experience of a fact or situation. Knowledge is also defined as facts, information and skills acquired by a person through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject. I believe it’s safe to say that every person gains knowledge, regarding various subject matters, over the course of their lifetime.

There are two sides to this word knowledge. There’s knowledge that is good and knowledge that is evil. The Bible even speaks of a tree that contains knowledge of good and evil. Genesis 2:16-17 says,

“And the LORD God commanded the man saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”

It’s very clear by what the scripture is saying. We need to be careful about the knowledge we are receiving. The knowledge we’re receiving (good or bad) will determine the course our lives will take.

We have seen a rise in deception within our country and around the world. Media outlets have slandered those that are taking a stand to share the truth with people. Social media outlets are silencing people by fact checking informative material, which is actually factual. People are even becoming ill and losing their lives because they’re listening to false information rather than researching things for themselves. And what’s worse is that people are taking the words of mere men and running with what they’re hearing rather than seeking the Lord for His understanding and His wisdom on all of these matters. Many people today have questions that they want answered, but they don’t know who to trust. The resources of truth are scarce nowadays. We The People (Christians) want and need the Lord’s direction and guidance more than ever in this day and time. We need the Lord to direct and guide our path so that we won’t stumble.

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

(Psalms 119:105)

We The People (Christians) are tired of hearing man’s wisdom. Looking at the state of the world as a whole, we can see that this knowledge is what’s causing men to perish. People have put their faith and trust in things that are false and therefore many are walking around ignorant and lost. The Bible tells us that if we seek after something then we will find the answer to what we’re looking for. In the Father there is infinite wisdom.

“For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”

(Proverbs 2:6)

Here at the Voice of Healing, we understand that the only real truth is that which comes from the Father. This Word is living and breathing and has the power to completely change lives. We need to understand it spiritually so that we know how to prepare ourselves so that we can be used by the Lord. As we’re learning, it’s imperative that we get connected to others that can help to guide us on our journey. We The People (believers and followers of Christ) need to be asking questions and seeking diligently for the truth. Here at the Voice of Healing, we have something called “Friday Night Live” hosted by one of our members, Isaiah Robin. He uses this time to answer questions that the people want answered. Join us every Friday at 6:30pm PST/9:30pm EST. Remember to visit The Voice of Healing YouTube channel to view it live! You don’t want to miss out on what’s being released. Blessings!
