Satan Bound, The Release of the Glory, and The Sealing of the 144,000: Apostle Michael Petro

In a recent prayer meeting, intercessors at the Voice of Healing Ministries fervently rent the heavens for six hours. This has become a common occurrence – prayer meetings lasting well into the night, as the Lord moves mightily through those pressing to hear His heart. During this time of intercession, the Lord moved powerfully through Apostle Michael Petro, releasing a prophetic overflow that not only revealed what the Lord is doing in the earth, but signified the ushering in of the final harvest.

The prophet Amos declared,

“Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7.

This is exactly what happened during this prophetic release; for well over an hour, God moved through His servant and prophet, to shift the spiritual atmosphere in the earth and pioneer the next move of God in the nations. We look to the Word of God, and the writings of the Early Church (pre 325 AD) to not only establish our witnesses (2 Corinthians 13:1), but envision the manifestation of this prophetic stream as it now ripples forth into the earth.

Satan bound and the release of the Glory

As the rivers of living water were being poured out, the Lord spoke clearly regarding the season we are now in. Apostle Michael prophesied,

“Now is the time for Satan and his dominion to be bound: Satan’s hands are being bound, every principality is being bound and everything trying to come against and stop this next move of My Spirit is being bound right now by a people stepping into the authority and the power of My Spirit. The fullness of the Glory of God will be released. It is the fullness of what I [God] desire and the fullness of My plan and purpose on the earth. I am now releasing the joy. I am now releasing the revelation of My Word. It is time.” (1)

This release strikingly parallels what second century Church Father Irenaeus wrote concerning the end times. This was not only a prophetic declaration to indicate the time we are in, but a push for the body to transition us into the fullness of what the Early Church knew would take place in the final harvest!

For then there shall in truth be a common joy consummated to all those who believe unto life, and in each individual shall be confirmed the mystery of the Resurrection, and the hope of incorruption, and the commencement of the eternal kingdom, when God shall have destroyed death and the devil. For that human nature and flesh which has risen again from the dead shall die no more; but after it had been changed to incorruption, and made like to spirit, when the heaven was opened, [our Lord] full of glory offered it (the flesh) to the Father. (2)

The Early Church taught that at the end of the age, in the Millennial Kingdom, satan will be bound (see Revelations 20:1-3), and those with the truth (John 8:32; John 14:6) will be transformed from corruption to incorruption (1 Corinthians 15:53-55). We are now stepping into the mystery of the resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:51), this is an event that Apostle Paul and Irenaeus (over a century later) referred to. We will see the glory being released through a people who have overcome the flesh, now operating in the authority and power of God’s spirit. We are about to see the fullness of what Paul referred to as

“…Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27).

The Apostle Paul writes,

“when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.” 2 Thessalonians 1:10.

We are going to witness the fullness of the glory of God being released through His people, His creation. Irenaeus confirms this writing, “Now God shall be glorified in His handiwork, fitting it so as to be conformable to, and modelled after, His own Son. (3)

Apostle Michael Petro called forth the fullness of the release of God’s glory through His people prophesying:

“My Son Yeshua is the light of the world, and this light will again come into the world for Him to be seen in and through My people.” (1)

Sons of Fire

Later Apostle Michael continued, [God is]:

“Birthing sons of fire through revelation. My next birthing will be fire. I am birthing Sons of fire right now. The fire is conceived in your mind and comes out into your womb. It will wash everything in between. This fire comes from my very throne: it is the fire from around my throne, the very closest thing to me. It is the fire of revelation that is burning everything around Me and it is now being released to those who have been prepared by this fire. Fire of heaven is released; manifestations will happen instantly. Those who cried out will be cleansed and transitioned in this season.” (1)

In the Hebrew language, fire represents the secrets of God (4), which are revealed (unveiled) to His children, for us to fulfill His Law (Deuteronomy 29:29). Jesus said the mysteries (or secrets) of the kingdom of heaven were hidden in the parables (veiled teachings) He was teaching (Matthew 13:10-11). It was only those who sought to understand the deeper meaning of the parables (get the revelation) who were considered true disciples.

Early Church Father Clement stated:

Wherefore the holy mysteries of the prophecies are veiled in the parables – preserved for chosen men, selected to knowledge in consequence of their faith. (5) When explaining the parable of the seed and the sower, Jesus states “the seed is the Word of God.” (Luke 8:11). The “seed” having a dual meaning- that which can be planted into the ground and produce a fruit tree, or the seed of a man that produces offspring (6). We are now seeing the manifestation of these“Sons of fire” being birthed as our minds are being impregnated with the Secrets of God’s Word (the revelation of it), and are producing (birthing) the fruit of God’s character. Hence, Apostle Michael prophesied “The fire is conceived in your mind and comes out into your womb.” (1) Third Century Church Father Origen wrote the following concerning the fire of God:

Therefore our God is a “consuming fire” in the sense in which we have taken the word; and thus He enters in as a “refiner’s fire,” to refine the rational nature, which has been filled with the lead of wickedness, and to free it from the other impure materials, which adulterate the natural gold or silver, so to speak, of the soul. And, in like manner, “rivers of fire” are said to be before God, who will thoroughly cleanse away the evil which is intermingled throughout the whole soul. (7)

In another place Origen writes,

He [God] consumes evil thoughts, wicked actions, and sinful desires, when they find their way into the minds of believers; and that, inhabiting along with His Son those souls which are rendered capable of receiving His word and wisdom, according to His own declaration, “I and the Father shall come, and We shall make our abode with him.” (Joh_14:23) He makes them, after all their vices and passions have been consumed, a holy temple, worthy of Himself. (8)

According to the Word of the Lord, the fire (secrets) of God’s Word purifies the souls of those who believe and are crying out for cleansing. We are seeing this final fire of purification being released now as the body of believers receive the revelation of the Word and walk in it. Further on in his prophecy, Apostle Michael stated, “I [God] am giving you an Apostolic race. A race of people that have never been seen. Holy, walking temples.” (1). Solomon’s temple was consumed in fire, and then the glory of the Lord filled it (2 Chronicles 1:7), and Paul tells us that we are God’s temple in which the holy spirit dwells (1 Corinthians 3:16). This is the hour we will see the Lord move through His holy, walking temples. These Sons of fire arising will be a race of people who have been completely consumed in the fire (secrets) of His Word. God’s spirit will fully inhabit His people, as Origen articulated above.

The Elijah Ministries

Apostle Michael continued, “My Elijah’s will call down this fire from heaven and this fire has now been released.” (1) In the Old Testament, we read of Elijah having the ability to call down fire from heaven, proving him to be a true prophet of God (1 Kings 18:37-38; 2 Kings 1:10-12). Furthermore, in the New Testament, John the Baptist came in the spirit of Elijah, to prepare the way for Jesus (Matthew 17:10-13; Mark 1:1-9). The Early Church understood the importance of Elijah, knowing that he must be the forerunner at the second coming of Christ. Third century Church Father Origen writes,

But if it be necessary to adduce the Scripture from which the scribes said that Elijah must first come, listen to Malachi who says, “And behold I will send to you Elijah the Tishbite,” etc., down to the words, “Lest I come and smite the earth utterly.” (Mal_4:5, Mal_4:6) And it seems to be indicated by these words, that Elijah was to prepare for the glorious coming of Christ by certain holy words and dispositions in their souls, those who had been made fittest for this, which those upon earth could not have endured, because of the excellency of the glory, unless they had been prepared before hand by Elijah. And likewise, by Elijah, in this place, I do not understand the soul of that prophet but his spirit and his power; for these it is by which all things shall be restored, (Mat_17:11) so that when they have been restored, and, as a result of that restoration, become capable of receiving the glory of Christ, the Son of God who shall appear in glory may sojourn with them. (9)

The Early Church taught that Elijah must come before the second coming of Christ, to prepare the Church. Without this preparation, we would not be able to withstand the glory that is to come. According to the Word of the Lord, now is the time for the Elijah ministries to rise and prepare the Church for the fullness of His glory.

The sealing of the 144,000

Apostle Michael prophesied that now is the time for the sealing of the 144,000. He stated,

“The sealing of the 144,000; finishing of His temples (Mal 3:1). This is the time of the 144,000. Now is the time I am sealing them in their foreheads.” (1)

In the book of Revelations (the apocalypse), John writes,

“Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed” Revelations 7:2-4.

In reference to the angel in Revelations seven, third century Church Father Victorinus writes,

“And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God.” (Rev_7:2) He speaks of Elijah the prophet, who is the precursor of the times of the Antichrist—for the restoration and establishment of the churches from the great and intolerable persecution. . . . The aid of the great eagle’s wings is the gift of the [two] prophets, which is given to that catholic [universal] church. In the end times, a hundred and forty-four thousand men will believe on the preaching of Elijah. . . . The “two great wings” (Rev_12:6) are the two prophets—Elijah and the prophet who will be with him.” (10)

As we have read, and according to the prophetic word, now is the time for Elijah to seal the 144,000 in the prophetic doctrine. According to the Law (Torah), the High Priests were sealed on their foreheads with anointing oil (Leviticus 8:12); this being symbolic of their minds being sealed. The High priest was also the only person permitted to go behind the veil, and enter the Holy of Holies, where God’s presence dwelt. Furthermore, we read in the Book of Acts that Jesus (our Great High Priest, Hebrews 4:14) was anointed with the holy spirit (Acts 10:38). Thus, the oil is symbolic of the holy spirit. Now is the time for the sealing of God’s High Priesthood, His 144,000 (1 Peter 2:9; Revelations 1:6), through the revelation released by His Elijah ministries. Third century Church Father Origen further explains who the 144,000 are:

The number of believers who belong to Israel according to the flesh is small. One might venture to assert that they would not nearly make up the number of a hundred and forty-four thousand. It is evident, therefore, that the hundred and forty-four thousand who have not defiled themselves with women must be made up of those who have come to the divine word out of the Gentile world. (11)

The Early Church taught that the divine word is the deeper truths hidden in Scripture (the secrets of the Kingdom) that are made plain to those who zealously search to discover them (12). To the Early Church, Israel is spiritually symbolic of Christians who devote themselves to the studies of the divine word and thus are becoming spiritual High Priests (those who can enter in behind the veil) (13). Now we can see that the 144,000 are the remnant (the few) who are prepared by Elijah, in the secrets of God’s Word.

We have merely scratched the surface- the Early Church offers an endless library of divine expositions to the Word of God. We exhort you to discover greater truths for yourself- in digging into the depths of Apostle Michaels prophetic word. For as the wise Solomon stated, “it is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to search it out” (Proverbs 25:2).

Clement of Alexandria stated,

Prophecy does not employ figurative forms in its expressions simply for the sake of beautiful diction. Rather, it uses these forms because the truth does not pertain to all. It is veiled in various ways, causing the light to arise only on those who are initiated into knowledge, who seek the truth through love. (14)

Now is the time for the Lord’s Priesthood to arise and be sealed for the glory of His coming. For more understanding of what the Earliest Church taught on eschatology and countless other topics, go to www.voh.church/ecf or join us on our Video On Demand for weekly teachings!
