One of the things that we really need to get back to is the fear of God. This is a consistent message in this ministry and one which Kent Christmas echoes in this teaching.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
The reality is that the Lord is trying to bring righteousness, or a right understanding, of the fear of God. There are too many people in the church today that do not have a fear of God. People are just taking it as church as usual, having no compass to really gauge the seriousness of what we are getting ready to see. And they need that gauge, because what we are getting ready to see is going to go above and beyond anything ever seen; even the day of Noah will be nothing compared to what you and I will see. Think about that – the flood and the destruction of the entire earth, will be nothing compared to what we are going to see.
This will be the greatest of all moves. This will be the greatest and most terrifying season that anybody has ever seen. The Lord is going to bring nations to their knees… not one nation, not Egypt; but all nations. How He is going to do it and the way He is going to do it, I do not know – I have never seen this rain, like Noah had never seen the rain before the flood. I am like Noah – I do not have that revelation yet, I have not seen that rain yet. I do not know what that rain is, but the Lord is getting ready to bring it – the former and latter rain.
We have the majority of the puzzle, and it is amazing what the Lord has given us. Some people still view this ministry like a religious system, but those that have done so have all gone to the waysides. Why? Because the attack is that serious. But the Lord is taking us to another dimension… because that time and that season is now. ~Apostle Michael Petro
Kent Christmas gives another anointed teaching as he discusses the days of Noah, and the need for the church to get serious in their faith and in their fear of the Lord as he says:
I am going to embarrass the lukewarm…. I am now going to separate the believers from the unbelievers… they will fall, it is my doing.. for the church that is rising up will not be a mixture, but it will be a pure and holy church…
I am looking for people that have faith, that are not caving in, that are not backing down… I loose a righteous anger in the Spirit of God… God will perform His work…
I am fed up with all these people that have thrown in the towel with God.. we need some people that believe and want to please God…
One of the things the bible says about Noah, is that he moved with fear. If you would ask me the two things that are missing today, not only in the church, but in the earth – one is faith.. God is up to something. People are hungry because there is something coming alive. Faith is being built, it is getting released in the atmosphere.
The other thing that is needed today in the church, and this is the reason why there is so much turmoil in our nation, in our government and in our church. It is because there is no longer any fear of the Lord in this country.. and it is not in the churches very much. You need the fear of God. Sometimes it is not the love for God that keeps you straight and narrow, it is the fear of the Lord that keeps you straight and narrow, and not only did Noah have faith in God, there was a Godly fear that rose up in him, that said I have to build the ark. I do not know why, I do not understand it, I do not know what rain is, but God told me I have to build it.
So you hold your ground, you may not know why you believe, there may be nothing in the natural, that indicates there is something to believe for. But faith is the substance of things hoped for. Abraham considered not the loins of himself death, nor yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb. It is at a death that comes resurrection, resurrection is not what God was, but what God is becoming.
Hold on and let there be a fear of the Lord in your Spirit.
God shut the door of the ark and then the rain started. When it started raining, people started running for the ark. We always talk about how merciful God is, but if you read the scripture it says that at the same time that the marriage supper of the lamb is taking place, that the wrath of the lamb will be released on the earth. This concept of God being all mercy, and it does not matter, and He just loves you. Try telling that to Noah’s generation. God had shut the door, and no man can enter.
Right now in the mercy of the Lord, God has left the door open in this nation. But I hear the sound of an abundance of rain.
This is an hour where everyone has to make their own choice, and you have to decide what you are going to do. That seven day period before the rain was probably that greatest test of Noah’s faith, just as this period now is our greatest test. I tell you by the Word of the Lord that you and I are in an unprecedented time in which we are going to behold the hand of God unveiled on this earth as we have never seen before. This is no longer on the timetable of men, no man, righteous or unrighteous has control of what I am getting ready to do for I am a sovereign God, and I stand today, ruling over the earth. When I say it is time, then it will rain. but until then sayeth the Lord, I am testing the faith of My children to see if they will stand with Me. But as you stand sayeth God, know this, that I will not let you down, for the greatest outpouring of My glory is now coming. ~Kent Christmas
