Persecution to Breakthrough In China

There is a move of God getting ready to break out in China. For years, there has been a remnant church in China hiding underground, in basements, and fields. They are unable to worship, preach the Gospel, or even have a Bible, as it is a punishable crime in Communist controlled China. The time has come for the persecution in China to turn into a breakthrough.

“The Lord spoke to me that China is coming. The harvest in China is going to start this year. We will hear things come out, the church that has been persecuted, we are going to see the move of God break out in China, it’s time.” -Apostle Michael Petro

After a recent teaching the Holy Spirit moved through Apostle Petro to release this word for China to Cheri, an Asian- American sister in the ministry and asked her to pray into it. Cheri prayed as she was led by the Holy Spirit and released stating it was time, that the light would prevail, and that the apostolic language would prevail in China. She said enough was enough, it was time to tear down the wall of Communism. Cheri prayed that people wouldn’t have to cross over to receive the apostolic teachings, but they would receive them supernaturally. She prayed for the blood of Yeshua to wash over the whole land of China, including Hong Kong,

“People are crying out day and night for freedom, they are hungry for truth, Abba Father, hear their cries. They have cried for the persecution and blood of the innocent that has been shed.”

Cheri declared that we are taking over, that China and the people of China belong to God. She prayed into the release for Chinese people all over the world,

“Lord strengthen the people, preserve their hearts, and for divine protection over them. Let the people of China receive eyes to see and ears to hear the apostolic language and be born again.”

When asked what the Lord has been revealing to her for the nation of China, Cheri commented on an article regarding a potential peace agreement between North and South Korea. [1] She noted that if this were to happen, North Korea would become a Democratic nation and the gospel of Jesus could enter into North Korea as the majority of the Christian population is in South Korea. Due to the electricity crisis in China, people from the North-East part of China are now escaping to North Korea, this would allow many Chinese to hear the gospel of Jesus.

During her own time of prayer, Cheri said the Lord revealed it is now the darkest hour for the land of China. The people’s mindsets have been manipulated, as they have deeply believed that living in this darkness is the way it should be in their life. They are isolated, especially in the countryside and have very little resources to live. She continued to say,

“All they want is to have food to eat, water to drink, and survive till they grow old, sick, and die. Their tears have dried up and their voices have been shut.”

One may question how breakthrough can come for the nation of China when it is their darkest hour. In the natural it looks impossible, yet, we serve a God of the impossible. We have all heard the saying ‘it’s always darkest before the dawn’; why does it seem this way? It’s in the tough battles we fight where we think there is no hope, that we see the first ray of light and know that the darkness has not won.

“The people who walked in great darkness have seen a great Light; those who dwelt in the land of intense darkness and the shadow of death upon them has the Light shined”, Isa 9:2

The people of China have been manipulated in their minds, thinking life was always meant to be oppressive. We are not to be conformed to the world, but we are to be transformed by the renewing of our minds through the process of knowledge (ref Rom 12:2). For 400 years the Hebrews were slaves in Egypt living a life of bondage under cruel taskmasters, crying out for a deliverer. This isn’t just a story, when we open up the symbolic understanding we see that the pattern is still the same. The Hebrews (those who crossover) were fleeing Egypt (place of limiting God) in order to be free from the bondages of the taskmasters (rulers/oppressors), and Moses (Apostles) was sent to take them into the Promised Land (glorified state). Just as He did with Moses and the Hebrews, God is sending out His deliverers with the Spirit of revelation to bring people out of the bondage from the oppression in their minds. In order for the people of the nation of China to leave their taskmasters, they need apostles who can deliver them from the bondage of limiting God and what He wants to do in their lives.

Without the Spirit of revelation, many Christians don’t see the promises God has always intended for them, and completely miss their inheritance. Paul said, the Spirit of revelation [insight into mysteries and secrets] is given so there can be [deep and intimate knowledge of Him. Once the eyes of the heart are flooded with light, there is a knowledge and understanding to the hope He has called us and the richness of His glorious inheritance in His set apart ones (ref Eph 1:17-18).

Did you know we were never meant to live each day trying to get by? We were created in God’s image and likeness (Gen 1:27). Just as Adam was created in the glory, the plan has always been for us to return to that glory. In the days of creation, Adam had dominion over all the fish of the sea, birds of the air, and every living creature on earth. When we look at the book of Revelation, the pattern is the same; it is only those who overcome that are given a new name, the rod to rule the nations, and the hidden manna to eat (ref Revelations 2).

What is an overcomer and what are we overcoming? If we look at diamonds, they start as coal formed under intense pressure. They go through intense pressing, tribulations, and squeezing to be formed into something else. If we look at the ancient Hebrew pictographs, the word for diamond are the Hebrew letters Lamech and Hey, and it speaks of “a looking toward something”, such as a light in the distance. [2] These overcomers are looking for the Light, that bright and morning star that pierces the darkness of their battles. Diamonds are also mined from the earth; man was created from the dust of the earth. To be an overcomer (diamond), we have to get the earth (carnal thinking) off of us because God is at war with our carnal mind. That process can only come through the revelation of the Word.

The people, especially the churches, of China have suffered years of hardships and persecution. That adversity hasn’t been so they could live a life just waiting to grow old and die. The underground churches in China are being compressed and formed under intense pressure to become diamonds, or the overcoming church that will reveal Christ to others.

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing” Ja 1:2-4

The Spirit of revelation has to be released through the teachings of the apostles, which is called the apostolic language. There must be an apostle, or high priest, who can open the scriptures and remove the veils, in order for us to see, understand, and gain wisdom of Christ. Who are the apostles? At the time of the early church, those who had been trained under the apostles of Christ, were also known as the bishops or high priests of the church. They were entrusted with the same revelations of scripture that Christ gave to His apostles, which was to be passed down through the churches. Ignatius, a disciple of John the Revelator and first century apostle of Antioch confirms this in his epistles to the different churches,

“For what is the bishop but one who beyond all others possesses all power and authority, so far as it is possible for a man to possess it, who according to his ability has been made an imitator of the Christ of God?” [3]

“The priests indeed, and the ministers are good; but the High Priest is better, to whom the holy of holies has been committed, and who alone has been entrusted with the secrets of God” [4]

“It is therefore necessary, whatsoever things you do, to do nothing without the bishop. And be ye subject also to the presbytery, as to the apostles of Jesus Christ, who is our hope, in whom, if we live, we shall be found in Him. It behoves you also, in every way to please the deacons, who are [ministers] of the mysteries of Christ Jesus; for they are not ministers of meat and drink, but servants of the Church of God.” [5]

Irenaeus, a disciple of Polycarp, who was another disciple of John, also had this to say,

“We have learned from none others the plan of our salvation, than from those through whom the Gospel has come down to us, which they did at one time proclaim in public, and, at a later period, by the will of God, handed down to us in the Scriptures, to be the ground and pillar of our faith…For, after our Lord rose from the dead, [the apostles] were invested with power from on high when the Holy Spirit came down [upon them], were filled from all [His gifts], and had perfect knowledge: they departed to the ends of the earth, preaching the glad tidings of the good things [sent] from God to us, and proclaiming  the peace of heaven to men, who indeed do all equally and individually possess the Gospel of God.” [6]

The teaching’s bring an apocalypse, meaning the revelation of Christ is to remove our veils, or circumcise our hearts. Paul said those who are true Jews and heirs of Abraham are those who have had their hearts circumcised (ref Rom 2:29). The hidden church in China needs eyes to see and ears to hear the revelation, apostolic language, in order for them to see who they truly are and step into it. Once the veils are removed, there is an understanding of identity and purpose. Moving from persecution to breakthrough, the overcoming church will rise up to combat the darkness in the land and defeat the spirit of Communism.

“For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds” 2 Co 10:4
