Rabbi Kanievsky, a prominent rabbi and highly respected spiritual authority to many jews across the globe, had released a powerful statement in his latest book: ‘Discourse of Comfort’, claiming that
“the messiah is here among us”
“the redemption is here ready and waiting when Israel merits it, and that once merited the messiah will be revealed to come and redeem them immediately” (1).
Apostle Michael Petro spoke on what it means to merit and how Jesus’ ministry was one that was kept in secrecy up until His resurrection (ref. Mat 17:9).
Apostle exclaims that,
“Jesus didn’t reveal himself till after His resurrection and that many times He looked for others to get a revelation of who He truly was, without explicitly telling them that He was the messiah” (2).
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” (3). Matthew 16:15
When we study Jesus’ teachings from when he spoke to the multitudes, to when he quarrelled with the Pharisees; the main message that He brought across was: to get
“eyes to see and ears to hear”.
Not to understand the Torah from a natural or literal perspective, but from a spiritual or heavenly understanding, which was to understand the mysteries of scripture.
But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;
for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it (3) Matthew 13:16-17
Apostle shares that in order to merit the second coming of the messiah we need to be able to see who Jesus is and what He is doing through the
“process of revelation of scripture”.
That just as religion in Jesus’ day had missed Him in understanding the prophetic scriptures (ref. Rom 16:25-26), so are many missing Him today (2).
However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory (3) 1 Corinthians 2:6-7
Kanievsky mentioned that up until the final redemption, which is in this time and season that we are in:
“There will be a hatred of Torah scholars” (1)
Apostle Michael points out that this is a “natural sign of what is happening in the church today”, with many in the church doing away with the Torah or Old Testament in general and others coming against the revelation of it, which was given by Jesus to bring restoration or redemption to our souls (2).
Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. Matthew 23:28
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord (3). 2 Corinthians 3:18
With the natural manifestation of the jews telling us that the
“messiah is here” (1)
and scripture showing us a pattern that many missed Jesus’ coming because they didn’t understand the Word of God spiritually. Now is the time to
“look up and see that our redemption is near” Luke 21:28
If you too would like to have eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying in this hour, come and join us and receive the rains of revival for this last hour, as we prepare to meet the bridegroom.
But understand this: If the head of the house had known what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
Therefore, you [who follow Me] must also be ready; because the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him (3). Matthew 24:43-44
