In the book of Exodus, God instructed Moses to build a sanctuary or tabernacle so that He might dwell among them. The word tabernacle means a dwelling place for God. Moses was given the blueprint then commissioned builders who had God’s wisdom to build it. Symbolically, the details and specifications of the tabernacle point to a progression in our understanding of the Word of God. In this powerful teaching by Benjamin Ko, we can see how the tabernacle was designed and built to teach us the deeper and symbolic meaning of God’s Word. The physical building was only a shadow, as we are the temple of God (Ref 1Co 3:16). The pattern continues today, God has appointed one who has the blueprint namely, prophets, who lay the foundation and commission believers to build a place for God to dwell.
