The art of healing goes far beyond a physical miracle, it is an intricate process that our soul must go through.
The deeper understanding of the Word of God is a lamp, illuminating the hidden parts of our soul. With this illumination comes our ability to be transformed into the light of the world, Christ.
The harvest is often referred to as an influx of souls at the end of the age, but do you know the harvest first comes within you?
The sign to see if someone was being renewed was their fruit. The knowledge of God renews us into a new man as the Apostle Paul wrote. Ignorance of the knowledge of God is evident through the deeds of the old man.
There are struggles that all humans encounter, however it is not due to the devil inciting us to sin, it is the due to the constitution of our bodies that we are inclined to sexual intercourse, gluttony, anger and the sort. Even if the devil did not exist today these would be our current struggle, that we would be susceptible to. When we indulge in them that is when a demon enters in to take those struggles even further. We have a free will to either resist them, by which they will flee, or indulge in them. There are other sins in which opposing powers incite, however we have the choice to resist. God always gives us a means to escape the temptation, it is our choice who we obey.
The soul is the throne to which either Christ or sin reigns within us. Our body obeys the soul to whoever reigns within it. Sin is not something that God takes all away, it is meant for us to master within ourselves thus being rendered perfect. It is done through the Spirit. When two or three coming in His name is having our body soul and spirit being in agreement, to resist sin and living holy before God.
The 10 commandments, also known as the Decalogue, corresponds 10 senses. We are shown how these commandments help renew our spiritual senses. The two tablets representing heaven and earth are showing us how we become a new heaven and new earth. The Decalogue is not a list of doe’s and don’ts, it is divine instruction to renew our inner man, the soul.
Every one of our souls come into this world with the image of fallen man, the first Adam, until it is born again in Christ, the second Adam through regeneration. The flesh is not what we are fighting with when we struggle with vices, it is an issue of an unregenerate soul. The Flesh, or body, is the instrument that fulfills what the soul is desiring. The soul needs to change for our actions to change.
Every person consists of a body, soul and spirit. The struggle we go through daily is between the spirit and the lust of the flesh for they are in constant disagreement with each other. The souls is the key, through assistance from God, through continual prayer asking to the Lord to help renew our soul to bring our body, soul, and spirit to a state of holiness.
