After the exodus from Egypt, Moses went up to receive the tablets from God on Mt. Sinai. While he was gone, the Isrealites fashioned a golden calf which they began to worship. Although God delivered them from oppressive slavery, they continued to live in the bondage of limiting God in their thinking. In this powerful teaching with Adam Cho, we can see that this passage is highly symbolic and relevant in our walk today. Gold speaks of wisdom or teaching and Egypt speaks of limitations through slavery.
