THE LORD ESTABLISHES YOUR STEPS | Lana Vawser

“The only way to truly rid ourselves of this sin and come into the fullness God has for us is for a true apostle to reveal God’s Word in truth.” In Apostle Michael Petro’s teaching titled “Death to Self” he unfolds God’s will for His children to relinquish their lives for His eternal life. Early church father Origen said “that which someone cherishes above all else, admires and loves above all, this is that person’s God.’’[2] What are some of these gods that may be in our lives? Shopping, clothes, food, sports, relationships, money? We read in the word that we are not to have any other gods before Him but that we are to love The Lord our God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. [Ref. Exodus 20:3, Mark 12:30]

Lana Vawser has released a prophetic word into the earth in these times of preparation. What could this prophecy mean for us? How can you truly walk in God’s will for your life? Are you being prepared in this hour?

“LIVE IN AND WITH REVELATION KNOWLEDGE”

“As I have been pondering Proverbs 16:9 before the Lord, He also took me to Proverbs 19:2 “Desire without knowledge is not good, and whoever makes haste with his feet misses his way.”

In the Death to Self teaching Apostle Michael states “that when Elisha was going up to receive the mantle from Elijah, the school of prophets were there on the other side prophesying saying ‘don’t you know your master will be taken up today’ but they weren’t there, they didn’t want to cross over the Jordan into the promise of God.’’ [Ref. 2 Kings 2] We often see this pattern throughout scripture where only a remnant steps into receiving God’s promise. In Origen’s book Homilies on numbers he goes into significant detail on the 42 steps in the wilderness that God ordered Moses and the Hebrews to go through, in order to inherit The Promise Land. Each step on their journey was to bring His people out of their own understanding and into His understanding. They had to step into God’s promise, trusting Him to provide every step of the way. It was a process of trust, faith and believing in God. Through God’s word we gain an understanding that God is the one who gives the gifts of the Spirit. [Ref. Proverbs 2:1-12] Through the Holy Spirit, God has made us “partakers of the divine nature” [Ref. 2 Peter 1:4] so that we can have all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Himself.

“Right now the Lord is releasing wisdom and revelation at a level and depth I have never seen before. This is the hour to truly draw close to the Lord and be seeking wisdom (James 1) and understanding.”

“It is IN the receiving of revelation knowledge and walking in obedience to the wisdom and revelation that He is releasing that you will not miss your way.” No matter how “opposite to what you expected” the revelation is that you are hearing and receiving, walk in the revelation and wisdom of God.

God established His covenant with Abraham who would be the father of many nations and to his wife Sarah in her old age, would bear him a son whose name would be Isaac. [Ref. Genesis 17] God then tells Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac. Abraham, being obedient, takes Isaac up to be sacrificed, despite the fact that God had promised him a son. Just before he is about to follow through and kill Isaac, the Lord stops him and gives him a ram to sacrifice instead. Because of Abraham’s faith, God says “through your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have heard and obeyed My voice.” Through this story what is God trying to reveal to us? What is this seed He speaks of? It’s simple, God desires obedience over sacrifice! This seed He speaks of is the true, untainted and unwavering gospel. This seed is the word of God. [Ref. Luke 8:11]

So what does it mean to be obedient? The word obedient comes from the Hewbrew word “shâma”, which means to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.).[4] Therefore, obedience isn’t just to hear an instruction, but to then be faithful in walking it out. ‘For obedience is greater than sacrifice’. [Ref. 1 Samuel 15:22]

“Be one who is found not only desperately hungering for revelation knowledge, but walking in it, KNOWING that we have already been given the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16).”

In Matthew 25:1-13, we read the parable of the 10 Virgins. We know that the 5 foolish virgins didn’t have enough oil in their lamps, but the 5 wise virgins had just enough for themselves. As they awoke to a shout ‘‘wake up the bridegroom is coming go and meet him’’ [Ref. Mat. 25:6], the wise virgins were prepared, while the foolish virgins were not. So as they went away to buy some more oil, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut and locked. After they returned from buying oil and knocked and said, ‘Lord, Lord, open the door for us.’ But He replied, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, I do not know you [we have no relationship].” Jesus says “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. [Matthew 7:21-22] So we must have a steadfast relationship with God in order to receive our inheritance.

“This is the era, where those who lean in and live in deep intimacy with Jesus, will truly walk in the mind of Christ like never before.”

But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.”
1 Corinthians 2:14-16

Now we can grasp hold of the fact that there is a process in receiving the mind of Christ. We need the seed [the word of God] to be broken open [revealed] so we can gain understanding. Then with understanding, we can begin to be cleansed and renewed in our carnal thought. We begin to be transformed by the washing of the word!

Paul writes in Romans 12:2

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the perfect will of God”

The same word ‘transform’ is also mentioned in the gospels, when Jesus is on the mountain of transfiguration [the mountain of “transformation” in the Strong’s Greek word 3339 meaning to transform (literally or figuratively “metamorphose”): – change, transfigure, transform..].

And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light” [Ref. Matthew 17:2, Mark 9:2]

. We know from Apostle Michael’s teachings, that in Hebrew a mountain speaks of a mindset. So in order to take on the mind of Christ we must go through an inward metamorphose, taking off our old [carnal] nature and taking on the [spiritual] nature of Christ.

Philippians 2:5-6 “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,
