Jo Ellen Stevens is a Prophetic speaker, author, worshiper and intercessor who recently received a timely prophetic word from the Lord about this coming Pentecost.
“This last week I heard three sounds that I believe The LORD allowed me to hear so that I could bring you this Word for the near future. I believe that Pentecost is about to be a time such as we have not seen since the first Pentecost.”
Pentecost falls on the 31st of May this year, 2020. This time will mark 2000 years since the events in the book of Acts took place. This was a pivotal moment in church history when the Holy Spirit came and filled all of the followers of Christ who were in one accord in the upper room.
Acts 2:1-4 “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (NKJV).
“First, upon waking I heard the sound of a roaring wave and saw a huge Tsunami as if it were rumbling and roaring across the land. There is about to be a Tsunami of God’s Spirit beginning on Pentecost!”
The Holy Spirit released a secret language to the remnant in the upper room on Pentecost. This was not another dialect, but the mysteries given by God to prophesy to the nations. This is confirmed later in the same chapter as men from different nations testified that the disciples were speaking to them in their native language.
Acts 2:5-8 “And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?” (NKJV)
This language of tongues given is the secret language of God (mysteries) that reveal what is hidden in the parables. Mark 4:34 “But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples” (NKJV).
The Strong’s Bible Dictionary defines mystery as, “What can only be known through revelation, i.e. because God reveals it.”
According to the Thayer’s Bible Dictionary mystery is defined as, “The secret counsels which govern God in dealing with the righteous, which are hidden from ungodly and wicked men but plain to the godly.”
This prophecy is proclaiming the release of greater revelations and mysteries on Pentecost. Just like we saw the Holy Spirit fall on the remnant at the appointed time in the upper room, God will move on the remnant on His appointed feast again.
“I AM calling the new names of My Sheep who have known My Voice, and another they will not follow! Many have been scattered, but I will begin to call the faithful out of their places of solitary and I will feed them myself and speak truth to them so that they may decree what they hear on the earth!”
Ephesians 3:8-9 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; (NKJV)
1 Corinthians 14:6, 8-9 & 11 But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either by revelation, by knowledge, by prophesying, or by teaching? For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare for battle? So likewise you, unless you utter by the tongue words easy to understand, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air. Therefore, if I do not know the meaning of the language, I shall be a foreigner to him who speaks, and he who speaks will be a foreigner to me.
“I keep hearing 1 Corinthians 2:9, ’But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.’ We are about to see The Fire of God fall on a Remnant in The Church and we will soon see the greatest harvest the world has ever known!”
There are 2 distinct events we must pay close attention to in this prophecy. 1. The fire of God falling on a remnant in the church. 2. The greatest harvest the world has ever known.
When we look deeper, we can see that one cannot occur without the other.
The HELPS Word-studies dictionary defines fire as the following: “God’s Spirit, like a holy fire, enlightens and purifies so that believers can share more and more in His likeness. Indeed the fire of God brings the uninterrupted privilege of being transformed which happens by experiencing faith from Him. Our lives can become true offerings to Him as we obey this imparted faith from God by His power.”
The fire of God is displayed in scripture as the fire that was constantly burning at the tabernacle entrance where the priests would make their offerings to God.
Leviticus 6:13 “A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out,” (NKJV).
“For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns. The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory. You shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of The LORD will name. You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of The LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God,” Isaiah 62:1-3 (NKJV).
According to the Law, anyone was permitted to be in the outer court of the tabernacle of God. The priests were the elect who had undergone training in order to have access into the second court, the Holy Place. But only the high priests could go into the Holy of Holies, the place that God dwells. The upper room is symbolic of the Holy of Holies. Only a remnant was allowed to go into the most holy place of all, the place that God Himself dwelt.
High Priest is defined in Thayer’s Greek Bible Dictionary as follows:
“In the Epistle to the Hebrews Christ is called ‘high priest,’ because by undergoing a bloody death he offered himself as an expiatory sacrifice to God, and has entered the heavenly sanctuary where he continually intercedes on our behalf”
“This new name is not of their old nature, but this will be of their new nature! They will be called My Bold Ones, and My Fiery Ones, and they shall be called Harvester! Yes they will be called Healers, and Deliverers in Zion!”
The royal priesthood has now been entrusted to the remnant. These are believers who are willing to follow in the footsteps of Christ. Matthew 16:24 “Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.’” This is fulfilled by laying down old ways in order to become a living sacrifice to God and be formed into His nature (Ref: Romans 12:1).
1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light,” (NKJV)
“They will be filled like Peter with My Fire and Boldness for Evangelism that will result in this great harvest!”
“They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of The LORD, as the waters cover the sea,” Isaiah 11:9.
The harvest being referred to is two-fold. Not only is it speaking of the nations coming to the fullness of salvation in Christ, but it also speaks of the harvest of spiritual fruits we must produce in ourselves in due time.
There is no coincidence that this prophetic release is highlighting Pentecost as an important time marking the ingathering of the greatest harvest ever seen. This feast is also known as the “Feast of the Harvest.” This day is observed worldwide as a time of preparing food from crops and offering them to God as thanksgiving for bringing the harvest.
This harvest represents the spiritual fruits within us and the harvest of the nations coming to the fullness of knowledge of Christ.
John 15:2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
Matthew 3:8-10 “Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” (NKJV)
The enemy thought that he would shut the mouth of The Church but he has only awakened a sleeping giant!
“A Fire will go before them! They shall rush on the cities and run on the walls, for great will be My great Army that has My Word in their mouths!”
“This wind will blow all that is not of My Spirit away and will result in The Glory being revealed in them and through them! No more will they be ashamed! But they will be mine in these days and men upon the earth will know that they have been with their Father!”
James 1:21 “Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.” (NKJV)
“I am excited to see the beginning of the new era as God comes roaring across this land!“
As with any reformation there is always a battle and this wave of God’s Spirit that has been prophesied for many years is about to be birthed in the earth!
