In this revelatory video, Pastor Kynan Bridges brings a confirmation to Apostle Michael Petro’s message at the Voice of Healing: that the apocalypse is not anything to do with science fiction movies about zombies, nor comets hitting the earth or the moon turning blood red. The apocalypse does not relate to anything regarding the end of the world at all, because it is the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Kynan highlights that the word revelation is the same word as apocalypse, transliterated from the Greek word apokalupsis, and speaks of an unveiling. He says that we are in the season of unveiling, and if we posture our heart with humility and repentance we will be able to enter in and receive the revelation of Jesus Christ like we have never seen in our life before. The apocalypse is the removal of the curtain and the tearing down of the wall that has been hiding us from the truth. With the revelation, he says, we will see a new truth: unfathomable, as we begin to realize that the things we knew and understood to be true were not truth, but up until now, the truth had been hidden from us, and we had been in darkness, believing the lie.
Rev 12:9-10 …the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come…
Pastor Kynan tells us that this is his most important message, because it is about us being in the season of the revelation of the person of Jesus Christ. We need to be aware to step into it, walking with a humble and repentant heart so we can begin to encounter Jesus. This is a time of moving on from going through the motions of church your whole life, of being stuck in the tradition of religion, toward the place where Jesus and the kingdom are going to be revealed: this is the season of unveiling the King, and His kingdom.
So what is really being said?
How can we practically come into this revelation?
What does it really mean to have a heart of humility and repentance?
Is it not enough to love Jesus?
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. What we define as love is not His love. We need to walk in the way He has shown us, to bring us into the knowledge of truth, that we can come into that resurrection life. So it takes an understanding.
The definition of humble is to bow down, to subject oneself, to become low1,
Humble means to be subdued, to be brought into subjection2.
It means to be poor, to be afflicted, to be lowly and weak3.
It means to be ranked below others who are honored or rewarded, to depress one’s soul and bring down one’s pride, to have a modest opinion of oneself4.
So what does being humble really mean biblically?
Humble means to be teachable. We need to be teachable so we can be taught the deeper things of God. If we are born again, we have to start on the milk as a baby, and then grow into the meat of maturity in knowledge of the deeper things of God. This is to become anointed. In the Old Testament, the anointing was done by oil. The King would be anointed by the High Priest. In the New Testament, the Book of Acts tells us that Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit5, so we learn that the anointing, or the oil, is the Holy Spirit, and Jesus tells us we need to buy the oil from the oil merchants. With this, we learn that the anointed teachers who teach the deeper things of God are the ones selling the oil, or that the Apostolic teachers impart the Holy Spirit. This means that what we understand to be true (our faith), needs to be placed into submission under true Apostolic doctrine… in which God will reveal truth to and healing to our soul.
The pattern and the order established in the bible explains why we need a teacher to learn and not just hear from God Himself.
For I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'” Mat 23:39
Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” Exo 3:10
Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.” Exo 4:12
Therefore say to the children of Israel: ‘I am the LORD… Exo 6:6
So the LORD said to Moses: “See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet. You shall speak all that I command you… Exo 7:1-2
“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes. And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.” Mal 4:5-6
Jesus answered and said to them, “Indeed, Elijah is coming first and will restore all things. Mat 17:11
“The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us (the fathers) and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law. Deu 29:29
I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old, which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us.
Psa 78:2-3
For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
1Co 4:15
Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
Amo 3:7
(paraphrased) …the grace of God was given to me for you… Eph 3:2
Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. 1Co 4:1
..I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations… Col 1:25-26
…in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets. Rev 10:7
Within this message from Pastor Kynan is another aspect which we should not miss: that what will be revealed include things we have never seen or paid attention to before – things within us, in our lives, also in government, in the church, even in Hollywood – the revelation of truth will expose many things and bring them to the surface. The apocalypse is the revelation of Jesus Christ, who is the light, and the light will shine into the darkness and expose it. With this, we can begin to transform as we separate ourselves from it.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. Joh 1:4-5
The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light“; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. Gen 1:2-3
He goes on to further confirm the message of the VOH Ministry that the revelation of Jesus Christ is not just something external we can see outside or around us; but through the revelation of His Word, God is going to reveal the deepest parts of our hearts, and as we are humble to receive His truth and change, He will bring healing to those how are humble to submit to the truth (light) of His Word.
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. Psa 119:105
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Joh 8:31-32
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1Jn 1:7
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Heb 4:12
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2Co 3:18
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Rom 12:1-2
As we come into this season, he continues, we should ask the Lord to reveal His light to expose the darkness in us so we can repent before it is too late: praying for eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to perceive allowing us to examine and judge ourselves, with a love for truth above all else that we be not deceived by the lie of the religious views in the church denominations.
The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them a strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2Th 2:9-12
But let a man examine himself… 1Co 11:28
For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world. 1Co 11:31-32
For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes. Heb 12:6
The light is now shining saints into our darkness to expose our inner man to His goodness if we allow it. We are not promised an easy road, nor a wide one which is easy to find; rather, the road is narrow and filled with the chastisement of His love, it is the tribulation the church seeks to escape from, but by which He moulds into His image and lovingly guides us through.
Establishing and strengthening the souls and the hearts of the disciples, urging and warning and encouraging them to stand firm in the faith, and [telling them] that it is through many hardships and tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God. Act 14:22
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Eph 4:11-16
Pastor Kynan tells us we should stop blaming others (come to understand that Jesus tells us all the church, each and every one of us, are asleep at the end of the age – if you say you are not, you are calling Jesus a liar), and we should start seeing that we need to wake up, that the healing we need is to our inner man deep inside of us, and we should be asking the Lord for the oil merchants, for the teachers, the prophets selling the gold. The alternative to waking up and receiving a new message of truth, is to remain a tare and refuse to bow at the time of the harvest, fighting the prophets as they release the revelation, holding onto demonic denominational doctrine and hold on to the enemy of God, your carnal mind, continuing to believe the lie that will bring us to destruction.
Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eyesalve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Rev 3:17-22
Unfortunately, the bible tells us that the majority of the church rejects the message of the prophets and do not come to the wedding, they do not go through the tribulation that the Word of God brings, they do not buy the oil and miss the night in the wedding chamber…
“The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. Mat 22:2-3
Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.” ‘ But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business (cares of this world). And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them (killed the Word they brought, ridiculed them). Mat 22:4-6
The sower sows the word. Mar 4:14
…the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. Mar 4:15
…likewise … the ones sown on stony ground, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble. Mar 4:16-17
Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. Mar 4:18-19
Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, Mat 25:3
And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out (no light = no revelation).’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ Mat 25:8-12
“For many are called, but few are chosen.” Mat 22:14
And the bible says that God sends His army to destroy those who reject the message of the prophets.
Awake, you drunkards, and weep; And wail, all you drinkers of wine, Because of the new wine, For it has been cut off from your mouth. Joe 1:5
The field is wasted, The land mourns; For the grain is ruined, The new wine is dried up, The oil fails. Be ashamed, you farmers, Wail, you vinedressers, For the wheat and the barley; Because the harvest of the field has perished. The vine has dried up, And the fig tree has withered; The pomegranate tree, The palm tree also, And the apple tree— All the trees of the field are withered; Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men. Joe 1:10-12
…when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Mat 22:7
each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 1Co 3:13
The LORD gives voice before His army, For His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; Who can endure it? Joe 2:11
“Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says the LORD of hosts. “But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi (priesthood), And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the LORD An offering in righteousness. Mal 3:1-3
Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” ” So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army. Eze 37:9-10
Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the LORD is coming, For it is at hand: A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations. A fire devours before them, And behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, And behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing shall escape them. Before them the people writhe in pain; All faces are drained of color. Joe 2:1-6
We encourage you to look further, hear what is being said. Consider that there is a deeper truth than the one you have been taught and believe to be true.
